Check in is from ??? on Friday. Please do not arrive any earlier than ????. Upon arrival, please make sure there is easy access to your camper's luggage and camper mail. You will drop it off in front of Pine Cove. Don't forget to take out any medications and spending money! You will turn them in at check-in. You will be directed where to park throughout the camp. The final balance will be due 7 days prior to the first day of camp. Please login to your account to pay your balance in full.
Pick-up takes place at your camper's cabin after closing activities at ???. Please be sure to pick you camper up by ???? on closing day. If your camper is still at camp after ????, they will be sent to the office. The Trading Post will be open on the closing day of camp for any last minute purchases.
We do hope that your camper will be able to stay at camp for the entire duration of camp. In the event that your camper is arriving late to camp, leaving early or riding home with a friend, please complete the Late Arrival, Early Check-Out or Alternate Pick-Up Form.
If your camper needs to cancel their registration, everything but the deposit will be refunded. The deposit is $100. It is non-transferable to other campers and non-refundable.
All campers are required to add a minimum of $10 to their Trading Post account online. However, additional funds may be added to the camper’s Trading Post account online on check-in day or throughout the week while your camper is at camp. Campers will be able to visit the Trading Post several times throughout the weekend. In the Trading Post, there is a snack shop, gift shop and bookstore. The coffee shop is located in the basement of the chapel. ??????Junior High and Teen campers will have the opportunity to play paintball as well as have a pizza party on the last night of camp. Here are the average amounts of spending money each age group brings to camp:
- Middle School - $30-$50
- High School - $40-$60
Any remaining funds will be given back to the camper in cash on the last day of camp unless specified to donate the remaining balance to the offering.
contacting your camper
We are very thankful that you have entrusted your camper to us while they are away at camp and we fully understand and accept the responsibility for their care. However, we do not allow personal phone calls (incoming or outgoing) or personal visitation during the camp session. In the case of an emergency, you will be notified promptly. If a serious concern arises, you may contact the camp office.
While camp is in session, visitors are prohibited unless permission has been granted by the office prior to the visit. Guests are required to check-in upon arrival and check-out at the camp office. Guests are required to remain with Woodlands' staff or an approved chaperon while on camp property. Woodlands Camp reserves the right to decline any visitation request. If a visitor knowingly fails to comply with any camp policy, they will be asked to leave the premises. If necessary, local authorities will be contacted.
mailing & shipping
Parents may drop off mail for their camper at check-in. Please specify each letter or package with your camper’s name and day you it should be delivered. Letters and packages will be delivered to the cabins. Package(s) requirements:
- Packages should not be larger than SHOE-BOX SIZE.
- Please limit THREE (3) shoe-box sized packages per camper (whether delivered at check-in or mailed).
- Parents or friends may not drop off packages while camp is in session.
- There is no limit for letters.
- NO FAXES or E-MAIL - No exceptions. You may purchase a one-way email package for your camper.
Woodlands makes no guarantee on postal service delivery. If mail is received after your camper's week of camp has ended, it will be returned to the sender. Here is how to label a package that is sent to your camper:

Care packages are another option to send your camper! You may purchase a care package online before your camper arrives and we will take care of the delivery. Woodlands' care packages are filled with lots of unforgettable Woodlands products! You may also create your own care package from any of the products listed in our web store. When you check-out, click on "deliver to camp" and we will make sure that your camper receives their package when they arrive!
cell phone/smart phone policy
We understand that our culture has become more connected because of the use of cell phones. With that in mind, we do not allow cell phones or smart phones while your camper is at camp. We want our campers to disconnect from the outside world and to be free from distraction so that they can make the most of their camp experience.
If you need to communicate with your camper while they are at camp, please call the camp office. If an emergency arises, please call the emergency contact number
(706-865-0853x122). In the event of any type of emergency at camp, parents/guardians will be contacted promptly. We do have an RN and health assistants that are available 24 hours a day and a doctor that is on call.
Our office is open from 8:00am - 5:30pm on regular business days. In the event of an emergency and you need to contact someone after hours, please call the emergency contact number.
