We are so excited your child is coming to Freestyle! They are going to have an unforgettable time at camp, learn more about Jesus and so much more! Below is some helpful information for you. If you have any questions, please contact the office at email@example.com.
Check-in is from 8:00am-9:00am on Monday and 8:30am-9:00am every other day. Please have any spending money or medications ready to turn in. The final balance of camp is due 7 days prior to the first day of camp. Please login to your account to pay your balance in full.
Please pick up your camper between 4:00pm and 4:30pm each day. Our camp store will be open at pick up for any purchases you would like to make. The camp store only accepts credit cards during pick-up.
We do hope that your camper will be able to stay at camp for the entire duration of camp. In the event that your camper is arriving late to camp, leaving early or riding home with a friend, please complete the Late Arrival, Early Check-Out or Alternate Pick-Up Form.
If your camper needs to cancel their registration, everything but the deposit will be refunded. The deposit is $50. It is non-transferable to other campers and non-refundable.
All campers are required to add a minimum of $10 to their Trading Post account online. However, additional funds may be added to the camper’s Trading Post account online, on check-in day or throughout the week while your camper is at camp. Campers will be able to visit the Trading Post several times throughout the week. In the Trading Post, there is a variety of toys, plush, candy, apparel, and gear. We recommend putting $10-$30 on your camper’s account.
Any remaining funds will be given back to the camper in cash on the last day of camp unless specified to donate the remaining balance to the offering.
Each week, we teach our campers the joys in giving generously, then we give them an opportunity to give some of their spending money in our weekly offering. Summer 2019 Causes:
Biblica – Biblica focuses on three pivotal focus areas - Bible translation, Bible access and Bible engagement. This summer’s offering will focus on Bible access by raising enough money to put a Bible in the hands of one at-risk child somewhere in the world for every camper that attends Woodlands this summer!
contacting your camper
We are very thankful that you have entrusted your camper to us while they are away at camp and we fully understand and accept the responsibility for their care. However, we do not allow personal phone calls (incoming or outgoing) or personal visitation during the camp session. In the case of an emergency, you will be notified promptly. If a serious concern arises, you may contact the camp office.
While camp is in session, visitors are prohibited unless permission has been granted by the office prior to the visit. Guests are required to check-in upon arrival and check-out at the camp office. Guests are required to remain with Woodlands' staff or an approved chaperon while on camp property. Woodlands Camp reserves the right to decline any visitation request. If a visitor knowingly fails to comply with any camp policy, they will be asked to leave the premises. If necessary, local authorities will be contacted.
cell phone/smart phone policy
We understand that our culture has become more connected because of the use of cell phones. With that in mind, we do not allow cell phones or smart phones while your camper is at camp. We want our campers to disconnect from the outside world and to be free from distraction so that they can make the most of their camp experience.
If you need to communicate with your camper while they are at camp, please call the camp office. If an emergency arises, please call the emergency contact number (706-865-0853x122). In the event of any type of emergency at camp, parents/guardians will be contacted promptly. We do have an RN and health assistants that are available 24 hours a day and a doctor that is on call.
Our office is open from 8:00am - 5:30pm on regular business days. In the event of an emergency and you need to contact someone after hours, please call the emergency contact number. To contact the Freestyle admin directly, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
