2025-26 NEXT Residents
Ada Epton - Woodruff, SC
Ada joined the NEXT residency after serving as a Traditional East counselor at Woodlands this past summer. She joined the team because she “wanted the opportunity to serve in a different way than I had done before.” Her favorite book of the Bible is Proverbs.
Parker Hartzell - Marietta, GA
Parker served this past summer as a Freestyle counselor and joined the NEXT residency to “be better equipped in my faith to do whatever God is calling me to do.” He enjoys reading, playing piano, and watching sports. His favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 4:7.
Chris Meador - Marietta, GA
Chris, a former Woodlands camper, joined NEXT “to grow closer to God and be surrounded by a Christ-like environment.” He likes to play basketball and he hopes to one day serve as a youth pastor. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 23:4.
Melaynah Clements - Sharpsburg, GA
This is Melaynah’s second year as a NEXT resident. This past summer Melaynah served on summer staff as a freestyle counselor. Melaynah likes to hang out with friends, travel, and play volleyball. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 86:15.
Lucy Ashby - Greenville, SC
Lucy is an online student studying business at Greenville Tech and wants to be a business owner. She enjoys reading, writing, and playing golf. Her favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 3:5.
Connor Tuten - Greenville, SC
Connor joined the NEXT residency after serving on the Spec Ops team at Woodlands this past summer. He hopes to pursue a career as an audio engineer and enjoys music, hiking, and rock climbing. His favorite book of the Bible is James.
Will Andrews - Cumming, GA
Will is an online student at Liberty University, where he is studying Christian Ministry. This past summer was his third serving on summer staff at Woodlands. He enjoys running, disc golf, and watching movies. His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:7.
Georgia Kemp - Gainesville, GA
Georgia served this past summer at Woodlands on the foodservice team and joined NEXT to “get experience with behind-the-scenes ministry.” She enjoys riding horses, filming, and photography. Her favorite Bible verse is Micah 6:8.
Elijah Schick - Winter Haven, FL
Elijah is a returning member of the NEXT residency. He rejoined the team “to have a season of intentional growth.” This past summer, he served on the Spec Ops team at Woodlands. He enjoys basketball, video games, and discovering new music. His favorite Bible verse is Luke 5:5.
Sydney Flateau - Cumming, GA
Sydney joined the NEXT residency after serving as a photographer at Woodlands this past summer. She hopes to pursue a career in sports media and enjoys reading and visiting new coffee shops. Her favorite book of the Bible is Ruth.
Adam Groski - Hampden, ME
Adam served as a health assistant at Woodlands this past summer. He is currently taking a gap year from Liberty University and plans to return next year to continue studying Nursing. He enjoys reading and working out. His favorite book of the Bible is Psalms.
