Compensation

NEXT residents are given a $400 bi-weekly stipend as well as a special bonus upon completion of the NEXT Residency.

Housing & Utilities

NEXT Residents live in fully furnished apartments at no cost. Housing includes complimentary internet, electricity, and water. Residents will share bedrooms with fellow NEXT Residents, providing opportunities to build community and develop meaningful relationships throughout the program.

Meals

Meals are provided at no additional cost to NEXT Residents during retreats hosted at Woodlands. Because retreats are regularly held at our facility, residents will have many of their meals provided while working during these events.

Time Off

NEXT residents receive both a Thanksgiving break and a Christmas Break. Other time off throughout the year is also given. More specific time off details will be given upon contract offers.

Truett McConnell SWC

NEXT residents receive free access to Truett McConnell University’s Student Wellness Center (SWC). Truett’s SWC features a fitness center, pool, basketball courts, walking track, and more.

Mission Trips & Conferences

NEXT Residents participate in a fully funded mission trip each semester. At the end of the fall semester, the team travels to Los Angeles for a domestic mission trip. During the spring semester, residents participate in an international mission trip to the Dominican Republic.

Throughout the residency, NEXT Residents will also have the opportunity to attend conferences completely free of charge. These conferences are designed to foster spiritual growth and leadership development.

 

Outings & Events

NEXT residents get the opportunity to participate in several intentionally planned outings and events designed to develop lasting friendships and create an unforgettable residency experience.

All outings and events are covered by Woodlands as a part of the NEXT Residency.
