TRADITIONAL

Our Traditional overnight camps feature programs for four age groups: Pee-Wee (ages 6-8), Mini-Camp (ages 11-14), Junior (ages 8-11), Junior High (ages 11-14), and Teen (ages 14-18). While at Woodlands, campers stay in cabins, engage in competition, enjoy our adventure and aquatic attractions, and experience all of the other unforgettable elements of Woodlands while being inspired and equipped to follow Jesus and love God’s Word.

XTREME

Woodlands’ Xtreme program is an adventure camp for the same age groups as our Traditional camps. Xtreme campers and staff will sleep in treehouse hammock shelters in the woods in a setting that is best described as Survivor meets Swiss Family Robinson. They participate in regular evening chapel services and take day trips doing different Xtreme activities such as horseback riding, white water rafting, rock climbing, and caving.

FREESTYLE

Freestyle is our traveling day camp program. We work in partnership with local churches to run a week of Woodlands on their site for 5 to 11-year-old campers, the sweet spot age group for salvation! The program is centered around many of the impactful and unforgettable elements of our Traditional camp program and will be facilitated by teams of 24 Woodlands staff who will spend the summer together on a 10-week road trip while staying in host homes.

SALT/LITE

SALT (Service and Leadership Training) and LITE (Leader in Training Experience) are leadership development programs at Woodlands designed for students ages 14–18 who are passionate about living for God and ready to take their relationship with Jesus and leadership skills to the next level. Participants in both SALT and LITE have the unique opportunity to serve alongside summer and full-time staff for multiple weeks. Each program includes dedicated male and female counselors who intentionally invest in campers through in-depth discipleship, hands-on service, and daily responsibilities. Through this experience, campers learn what it means to fully follow God while developing the heart and skills of a servant leader.
